cable-shop.co.uk was founded in 2001, with one simple aim, to provide our customers with the highest levels of customer service, supply only the finest cables, and at reasonable prices. On 21st March 2005, cable-shop.co.uk became part of Synergy Sound and Vision LTD.

We are a company owned and run by a Hi-Fi enthusiast, and that is why we are in a unique position to see things from the music / home cinema lover’s perspective. We are also the only cable specialist website that has the knowledge and experience of hi-fi and home cinema equipment sales and installation, to ensure we give the best possible advice and service.

We understand that the whole area of cables and sound/video re-production is a contentious one. Can cables really make an improvement in sound and picture quality? Well quite simply we believe YES! We don’t want to mislead you, a cable will not give you something that your Hi-Fi equipment doesn’t have, what a good cable will give you though is the ability to appreciate the qualities of your equipment to the maximum.

We also understand that buying from the Internet can also be daunting for some people. That is why we have made this site as informative as possible, and teamed up with SagePay (formerly Protx) to process your credit card payments.

Credit Card Security

Your credit card details are never seen by anyone at cable-shop.co.uk, SagePay (formerly Protx) receive your card details, and process them for us. SagePay (formerly Protx) are one of the UK's leading e-commerce companies. One of our competitors even state that it is a benefit that they process credit card payments themselves, manually! We don’t consider that to be a benefit! Computers don’t commit crime people do! So be safe in the knowledge that when entering your credit card details with cable-shop.co.uk you are protected by dealing with one of the biggest names in Internet e-commerce solutions.

Delivery Times.

We aim to dispatch items ordered within 2 working days of ordering, however the majority of orders are dispatched within 1 working day. Depending on the weight of the items ordered, we send items via 1st Class recorded delivery, 1st Class Special delivery or via a courier. Once your order is dispatched, you will be sent an e-mail confirming dispatch. You should expect to receive your items the next working day, if you are in the UK, or up to seven working days if you are outside the UK.

Refunds.

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If in the unlikely event that goods you are supplied with are faulty, then we will issue you with a replacement without any charge to you. Simply "contact us" for a returns number, and we will e-mail you further instructions. All other refunds are at management discretion, please "contact us" explaining your reason for requiring a refund, and we will assess your claim. We cannot refund speaker cables as these are cut to your size requirements. Refunds due to a change of mind or incorrect lengths etc. will be subject to a 15% handling charge.
