Subwoofer cables

Active sub-woofers, like any Hi-Fi or Home Cinema components, require the best possible signal quality to enable them to work at their optimum. Whilst conventional analogue interconnects are fine for use between audio-visual components, sub-woofers are an altogether different proposition, as they have a single specialised function - that of accurately reproducing the low frequency content of music and movies. Therefore, their requirements are obviously very specific: good signal transfer over long lengths and effective shielding from external interference (typically mains hum).

Subwoofer cables are typically single RCA to single RCA cables.
